At Aldergrove Alliance Church we value kids. We believe in learning through fun and good relationships with adults and teens who take the time to get to know each child and care about them. Children are not the “future” of the church – they are the now! God’s love working through the lives of kids is a powerful force and our desire is for every child to be able to experience His great love for them!

A matching numbered wrist-band system is used for kids up to Kindergarten. The adult picking them up from thier classroom must have the matching wrist band for security reasons. Older children sign themselves in and out of their classes.
All volunteers have completed a Criminal Records Check and Plan to Protect© Training prior to teaching in a classroom with children.

Service Description: One of the oldest ministries to children in church history is still alive and well at AAC. We offer a class for Elementary School kids, for Middle School, High School and Adults. Sunday School runs from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. before the morning church service. It begins on September 17, 2017.
Toddlers – 2+3 Years
2 and 3 year olds meet in Room 102 during the morning service. Parents have the option to drop their child off when they arrive or to keep their child in the service and drop them off a little later. A Bible lesson is taught during this time.
Preschool/Kindergarten – 4+5
4 and 5 year olds meet upstairs in Room 202 for their lessons and activities. They are welcome in the Sunday Service for praise and worship and are dismissed during the offering time to go to their classroom.
Elementary – Grades 1 to 5
Kids in Grades 1-5 meet in the gym for high energy worship, games, a lesson, and small group time. This ministry is led by Pastor Heather, our Children’s Pastor, and a crew of youth volunteers. Elementary-aged kids start out in the main service with their families and are dismissed during the offering to go to the gym.
